Kristin R. Closson

Associate Director of Laboratory Operations at Immunologix Laboratories

Kristin R. Closson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kristin R. began their career in 2008 as a Supervisor at Abbott's Frozen Custard. Kristin R. then worked as a Sales Associate at American Eagle Outfitters and gained further retail experience as a Kennel Attendant at Brockport Animal Hospital. In 2012, Kristin joined the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation as a Fish and Wildlife Technician, where they conducted aquatic research projects and assisted in collecting samples for various toxins.

In 2013, they joined AquaTOX Research, Inc. as a Primary Lab Supervisor, where they conducted toxicity tests with aquatic organisms, evaluated and interpreted data, and maintained test solution water chemistry. Kristin R. then transitioned to Immunologix Laboratories in 2018, where they served as a Laboratory Scientist II, designing and performing bioanalytical assays in a GLP/GCP setting.

Throughout their career at Immunologix Laboratories, Kristin held various roles, including Laboratory Supervisor, where they provided general supervision of staff, ensured compliance with company policies, and provided training and support to employees. Kristin R. then served as the Laboratory Logistics Manager, overseeing the organization of regulated and non-regulated bioanalytical study programs. Currently, Kristin is the Associate Director of Laboratory Operations at Immunologix Laboratories, responsible for managing the organization of regulated and non-regulated bioanalytical study programs.

In 2016, they briefly worked at ICON plc as a Scientist I, involved in the design, development, validation, and performance of bioanalytical assays in a GLP/GCP setting.

With a strong background in laboratory operations, bioanalytical assays, and research, Kristin R. Closson has demonstrated their ability to successfully manage and contribute to scientific studies and projects throughout their career.

Kristin R. Closson completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science and Biology at SUNY Brockport from 2008 to 2013.
