IMPACT Bay Area
Trew Boisvert is an experienced educator and instructor with a strong background in both technical and creative fields. Currently serving as a Suited Instructor at IMPACT Bay Area, Trew adjusts teaching methods in real-time and collaborates with fellow instructors to foster a supportive learning environment. Previous roles include Software Engineering Instructor at Hackbright Academy, where Trew taught core programming languages and managed multiple student projects, as well as various teaching assistant positions that emphasized mentoring and problem-solving skills. Trew has also worked as an AI Workshop Adjunct Instructional Staff at Strategic Education, Inc., providing support during a specialized workshop. Additionally, Trew has a solid foundation in fashion and design, having worked as an Assistant Designer and Seamster in the fashion industry, further complemented by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber, Textile and Weaving Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design.

IMPACT Bay Area is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that teaches violence prevention programs like effective boundary setting, and empowerment self-defense. Our classes are trauma-informed and tailored to meet the needs of people of different ages, genders, and identities. We offer classes for communities most impacted by violence like women, girls, people of color, LGBTQ etc.
