Knut Forkalsrud is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and overseeing complex software systems. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at impact.com since April 2007, Knut is responsible for significant portions of the initial Impact Radius code base and continues to oversee critical system components. Prior to this role, Knut worked at Estalea as the Technology Guy from October 2006 to June 2019, focusing on software development for innovative online businesses with an emphasis on reliability and scalability. Knut also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Commission Junction from February 2001 to September 2006, where responsibilities included developing high-availability web applications processing thousands of transactions per second. Earlier experience includes a tenure at TANDBERG Television ASA as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of digital TV broadcasting equipment. Knut holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in July 1997.
