Pierre Harkay

Pierre Harkay currently serves as CEO of Impact Finance Belgium and holds board member positions at Credendo and SFPI-FPIM, where involvement includes being a member of the Audit Committee and Co-President of the Investment Committee of the Ecological Transition Fund. Previously, Pierre contributed as Manager of the Development and Sustainability Unit at BIO - Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries and as an Investment Committee Member at Kampani, a social impact investment fund. Additional experience includes roles as an Energy & Climate Advisor at VBO-FEB, an Economist/Research Analyst at CBRE, and an Economic Advisor at the British Embassy Brussels. Pierre's early career includes significant contributions at EDF R&D and the National Bank of Belgium. Educational credentials encompass a Post Master in Environmental Engineering and Management from Mines Paris - PSL and multiple master's degrees in European and International Economic Studies from Université catholique de Louvain and Maastricht University.
