Athena Kim

Athena Kim is currently serving as the Director of New Member Education and Project Manager at Grub Ventures since September 2022, while also holding the role of Associate at Impact Investing at Cornell. Athena gained investment banking experience as a Summer Analyst at Solomon Partners in June 2024 and has previously interned at CAIS as a Fund Accounting Intern and at RiverRun Capital as a Private Equity Spring Analyst. Additional internships include a Financial Analyst Intern position at Resilience Lab and participation in various diversity programs and summits with Solomon Partners, Lazard, and Nomura. Athena is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics & Management at Cornell University, with prior education at the University of Washington and a high school diploma from Newport Senior High School.

Impact Investing at Cornell (IIC) is Cornell University's first undergraduate, impact-focused consulting organization. Our mission is to conduct financial and market due diligence for private equity firms whose missions involve the generation of positive social and environmental impact. We provide undergraduate students with opportunities to learn and implement financial tools and market research to do "more good" instead of "less bad".
