Joe Pugh is an experienced executive specializing in business growth, people culture, and corporate strategy, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Impact Makers since February 2022. Previously, Joe held key positions, including Vice President of Public Sector Consulting at Chesterfield County and Deputy CIO overseeing application services. With a long tenure at VDOT, Joe managed enterprise data management and IT governance, and held various IT management roles in district oversight. Joe's early career included working at Newport News Shipbuilding, where COBOL programming was utilized for production control in submarine programs. Educational credentials include a Professional Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from George Mason University, a Master’s in Information Technology Management from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Bachelor’s in Management Science from Virginia Tech.
