James Finlayson has a long history of work experience. James began their career in 2011 as a Technician at Jotun. In 2012, they took on the role of Test Engineer at JRF Subsea Ltd and Technical Assistant at Subsea 7. In 2016, they became a Process Engineer at Impact-Solutions. Finally, in 2017, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Impact Recycling, where they are responsible for developing technologies to separate mixed, comingled plastics into higher purity fractions.
James Finlayson obtained a BEng (hons) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
