Annette Finsterbusch

Annette Finsterbusch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology, innovation, and venture capital. Currently serving as the Acting Section Head for Small Business in the TIP Directorate at the National Science Foundation, Annette focuses on fostering innovation and commercialization. Annette has held several key positions, including Strategic Advisor at NSF, President and CEO of EnPower, Inc., and Founder and Senior Director of Applied Ventures. Annette is also a Kauffman Fellow and Mentor and has contributed to various boards and councils, including the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Annette holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from San Jose State University and a BS in Economics and Geology from the University of Houston.
