Zuleyma Bebell

Zuleyma Bebell is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations at ImpactAlpha. Zuleyma has over seven years of experience in the social impact sector, including previous positions at ImpactSpace, UNDP Iraq, and Sanghata Institute. At ImpactAlpha, Zuleyma is responsible for leading the organization's operations and administration, as well as overseeing ImpactAlpha's finance, HR, and IT functions.

Prior to joining ImpactAlpha, Zuleyma worked as a Reporting Analyst at UNDP Iraq, where they provided support to the editing of quarterly, annual and bilateral reports for submission to the Iraq Trust Fund (ITF), United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) and relevant donors. Zuleyma also assisted in the compiling of programme information, status of the UNDP Iraq Portfolio and the achievements and challenges over the past year for the drafting of the Country Brief 2012 for presentation at the 67 Session of the UN General Assembly. In addition, Zuleyma was the lead author of the UNDP Iraq Knowledge Management Survey 2012. The report includes survey findings, analysis and recommendations for future work on knowledge management.

Before working at UNDP Iraq, Zuleyma was a Program Assistant at the Sanghata Institute, where they provided administrative support to the organization's programs and events.

Zuleyma holds a bachelor's degree in International Studies from Rutgers University.

Zuleyma Bebell has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Trade, Investment and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Zuleyma also has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Florida. Zuleyma has a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations - Middle East Focus from the University of Florida.
