Francisco Catalan

Francisco Catalan has a diverse work experience, starting in 1974 as a Trainee for Projetos de Engenharia at The Dow Chemical Company. Francisco then progressed through various roles within the same company, including Assistance Manager, Gerente, and later officially as Gerente de Planta. In 1989, Francisco joined EDN Estireno do Nordeste SA as a Diretor industrial, where they worked until 1994. Francisco then returned to The Dow Chemical Company as Diretor de Operaçõess. In 1998, Francisco became the Diretor Superintendente at Policarbonatos do Brasil S.A. and later became Diretor da Unidade de Plásticos at Unigel in 2005. In 2008, they joined Mazzaferro as Diretor and then moved on to ERB - Energias Renováveis do Brasil as COO in 2010. Their most recent role is as COO Socio Fundador at Impacto Energia since 2015. Throughout their career, Francisco has successfully implemented and operated cogeneration projects, with a total investment of R$600 million.

Francisco Catalan's education history includes a Mestrado em Administração de Empresas (MsC) in Administração de Empresas from UFBA - Universidade Federal da Bahia, completed from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued Pós Graduação em Administração de Empresas in Administração e Negócios from Universidade Federal da Bahia for a year in 1994. Francisco also holds a degree in Engenharia Química (Chemical Engineering) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, which was earned from 1972 to 1976.
