Simon Dickson

Simon Dickson is the current COO at Impala. Simon was previously a Tech Policy Fellow at Milltown Partners LLP from June 2019 to September 2019. Simon has also worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School from January 2019 to July 2020.

Simon has a wealth of experience in technology policy, antitrust and competition, platform accountability, privacy and data, and the future of work. Simon has published 4 reports with detailed predictions analyzing what specific policy outcomes companies can expect in the next 2-5 years. Simon has also delivered multiple presentations to up-skill team on key areas of technology policy, including interaction between First Amendment and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

After completing a Master in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, Simon Dickson worked as a lawyer and then as a policy advisor for the Australian government. Simon later returned to academia, teaching law and policy at the Australian National University.
