Senki Kesilwe

Senki Kesilwe is an experienced Occupational Hygiene Manager currently leading the occupational hygiene department at Implats since June 2019. Previously, Senki held the position of Occupational Hygienist at Anglo American, undergoing a transfer from Anglo Thermal Coal, along with experience as a Ventilation Occupational Hygiene Engineering Superintendent in the Anglo American Thermal Coal Division. Prior roles include serving as an Occupational Hygienist at Rand Uranium, where duties were aligned with the Mine Health and Safety Act, and as a Researcher at CSIR involved in SIMRAC projects. Additionally, Senki worked as an Occupational Hygiene Inspector for the Department of Minerals and Energy, and as an Occupational Health Practitioner and SHE Officer at Anglo Gold Ashanti. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Occupational Hygiene from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Technology in Occupational Health from Wits Technikon, among other certifications.
