Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing management across various pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Procurement at Impax Laboratories since February 2008, Samuel oversees purchasing activities for various components and manages a team of buyers and buyer/planners. Prior roles include Director of Purchasing at VaxGen, Inc., where responsibilities included corporate purchasing, contract negotiation, and system implementation, as well as Materials Manager at Yamanouchi Pharma Technologies, Inc., and Manager of Purchasing at ALZA Corporation. Earlier in the career, Samuel served as Associate Director of Purchasing at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, focusing on corporate purchasing and staff training development. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville, earned between 1971 and 1975.
