Marie Turner

Marie Turner is currently the Creative Director and Head of Scientific Communications at Impello Biosciences, a role held since January 2024. In addition, Marie has been a freelance consultant in Science, Writing, Editing, and Communications for Evolution Training and Consulting since July 2017. Marie's academic background includes a PhD in Plant Genetics and an MFA in Creative Writing, both obtained from Colorado State University, where a postdoctoral research position in English/Rhetoric and Microbiome Research was also completed from January 2015 to February 2024. Additionally, Marie served as the Director of Breeding at Sunrise Genetics Inc. from July 2017 to March 2020.
