Maya Girimaji

Maya Girimaji is an experienced engineer currently serving as R&D Process Development Engineer II at Imperative Care since September 2023, having previously held the position of R&D Process Development Engineer I. Prior experience includes working as a Product Development Engineer at VenoStent, Inc., focusing on bioabsorbable polymer stent manufacturing for clinical trials, and conducting research at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, where optimization of mechanical testing procedures was achieved. Maya has also contributed to biomedical research at Texas A&M University, assisting in the design of a pediatric urinary sphincter device, and gained practical skills in various roles, including data entry and customer service. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
