Adam Byrne

Adam Byrne currently serves as a Professor of Respiratory Immunology at University College Dublin since August 2023. Prior to this role, Adam Byrne had a distinguished tenure at Imperial College London from October 2014 to the present, holding various positions including Senior Research Fellow, Reader in Respiratory Immunology, Senior Lecturer in Chronic Lung Disease, Lecturer in Chronic Lung Disease, and Research Associate. Adam Byrne's academic journey includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford from October 2011 to October 2014 and at Northwestern University from October 2009 to April 2011, as well as experience as a Senior Scientist at Oriflame from May 2007 to May 2009. Adam Byrne earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from University College Dublin.
