Dr Salvador Acha

Dr. Salvador Acha is a Senior Research Fellow in Integrated Energy Systems and Net Zero Transitions at Imperial College London, a position held since January 2011. Additionally, Dr. Acha serves as an Energy Technology and Sustainability Consultant at Imperial Consultants, working part-time on low carbon technologies and sustainability strategies across various organizations in the UK and internationally. As the founder, ex-chairman, and current ambassador of the Mr. Pentland Club, an official supporters’ club for Athletic Club Bilbao, Dr. Acha actively fosters community engagement. Previous consultancy experience includes a role as Senior Energy Consultant at Hunt Oil Company from March 2014 to May 2016 and a summer internship at EDF R&D in 2010. Dr. Acha's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London, completed in December 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
