Ian Radcliffe

Ian Radcliffe is a highly experienced professional in the fields of engineering design and bioengineering, currently serving as a Teaching Fellow in Engineering Design at Imperial College London since January 2014. In this role, Ian leads the second-year undergraduate Engineering Design Project module, contributes to design teaching across bioengineering courses, and manages design-related research and teaching activities. Additionally, Ian has served as the Sports Innovation Challenge Project Manager, facilitating student projects focused on engineering solutions for Paralympic and disability sports. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at deSoutter Medical and a Mechanical Engineer at Cambridge Design Partnership, where Ian was involved in the development of surgical tools and various products, respectively. Ian's academic background includes a PhD in Bio Engineering Science and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Southampton.
