Jake Ormond

Jake Ormond is a highly experienced researcher in the field of neuroscience, currently serving as a Research Associate at Imperial College London since November 2024. Prior to this role, Jake held the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour from January 2018 to November 2024. Jake's early career includes postdoctoral researcher roles at RIKEN from January 2014 to December 2017, and at The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience from October 2009 to December 2013. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience with a focus on Neurophysiology from the University of Toronto, an MSc in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from McGill University, and a BSc Hon. in Genetics and Biology from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, Jake is pursuing a PhD in Neurophysiology at the University of Toronto since October 2010.
