Maria Piggin

Maria Piggin serves as Chair at PNH Global Alliance and PNH Support while also managing partnerships and training at the NIHR Imperial Patient Experience Research Centre at Imperial College London since April 2016. With extensive experience in public involvement, Maria has delivered training to researchers and partnered with stakeholders in healthcare service provisioning. Engagement in various roles includes facilitating patient involvement in quality improvement initiatives across UCLPartners and conducting public focus groups for Healthwatch Central West London. Previous legal roles include positions as Partner at Hickman & Rose and Senior Associate at firms including Edmonds Marshall McMahon, specializing in criminal defense, particularly in white collar crime and fraud. Education credentials include being an EUPATI Fellow and holding a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland.
