Samir Bhatt

Samir Bhatt is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in machine learning, public health, and statistics. Currently serving as a Professor of Machine Learning and Public Health at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen since February 2021, Samir Bhatt has held multiple key positions at Imperial College London since 2016, including Professor of Statistics and Public Health and Senior Lecturer in Geostatistics. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Oxford as a Senior Computational Statistician and Senior Postdoctoral Modeller from 2012 to 2016 and postdoctoral positions at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the University of Oxford. Samir Bhatt holds a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Statistical Genetics from the University of Oxford, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from the University of Bath.
