Stephen Jan

Stephen Jan is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor at Imperial College London since August 2022 and as an Adjunct Professor at both WSU - Walter Sisulu University and City University of Hong Kong. With extensive experience at The George Institute for Global Health, where Stephen holds multiple leadership roles including Co-Director of Health Systems and Director of the Health Economics Program, Stephen has been influential in health systems research since 2005. Furthermore, Stephen is a Professor at UNSW since January 2017 and previously held a professorship at the University of Sydney from September 2013 to April 2021, along with a position as Senior Lecturer at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from 2001 to 2005. Stephen earned a PhD in Public Health from the University of Sydney between 1999 and 2003.
