Ken Zylstra

Ken Zylstra has over 40 years of work experience in various financial and administrative roles. Ken is currently Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Imperial Contracting since March 2016. Prior to that, they served as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Metal-Weld Specialties, Inc. from September 2014 to March 2016. From September 2012 to May 2014, Ken worked as Divisional Controller & Director of Administration at Klondyke Construction LLC. Ken also held the position of President at Paladin Consulting, Inc. from May 2008 to June 2012. Before that, Ken was Vice President & CFO at Agave Environmental Contracting Inc. from 2004 to 2008. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as Chief Financial Officer at Summit Builders Construction Company. Ken's extensive career began in 1979 at Schuff Steel Company, where they served as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer until 2000.

Ken Zylstra obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Public Accounting from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 1964 to 1971. In addition to their degree, they have also earned the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) certification from the Construction Financial Management Association in March 2019.
