Charles Smith is an experienced mechanical professional with a focus on supervision, planning, and maintenance in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a First Line Supervisor at Imperial Oil since November 2014, Charles oversees activities in the Central Maintenance Shop, Valve Room, and the Asbestos management program. Previous roles include managing notable turnarounds and mechanical maintenance, as well as multi-craft/fixed equipment mechanical planning. In addition to a robust background as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyman with Red Seal certification from UA Local 663, Charles has gained significant experience in project planning and scheduling through positions at Jacobs and in various capacities at Imperial Oil Canada and Nova Chemicals. Charles holds a Steamfitter Journeyman certification from Lambton College and additional credentials as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Its operations are conducted in three segments: Upstream, Downstream and Chemical.
