Christy Hughes

Christy Hughes is a seasoned Safety Professional with extensive experience in health and safety consulting and program implementation. Currently working at Imperial Oil since December 2022, Christy has been providing safety management services through Hughes Safety Ltd. since March 2009. With a strong background in developing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs, Christy has supported multiple work sites, conducted training programs, and maintained ISNet profiles and HSE manuals. Previous roles include HSE positions at Birch Mountain Enterprise Ltd., Innovative Civil Constructors Inc., Als Contracting/Meg Energy, and CenterFire/Nexen Long Lake Project, where Christy has been responsible for safety audits, compliance inspections, and training programs. Christy holds a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification from ACSA.
