Moniz Mukto

Moniz Mukto, Ph.D, P.Eng, is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Short Range Mine Design Supervisor at Imperial Oil since February 2013. Throughout the tenure at Imperial Oil, Moniz has held various leadership roles, including Lead Civil Engineer for Closure, Reclamation, and Mine Water Management, Environmental and Regulatory Team Lead for Air Quality and GHG, and Hydrotechnical Engineering Team Lead. Prior to joining Imperial Oil, Moniz was a Water Resources Engineer and Project Manager at Golder from June 2008 to January 2013. Moniz’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta, and Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Recently, Moniz completed a Business Leadership Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
