Sean Contenti is an experienced geophysicist with a strong background in geophysical operations and exploration. Currently serving as the Geophysical Operations Project Manager and previously as a Geophysical Applications Geophysicist at Imperial Oil since January 2019, Sean has also held roles at ExxonMobil as an Exploration Geophysicist from February 2016 to December 2018 and worked as a Heavy Oil Geophysicist at Imperial Oil from September 2012 to February 2016. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physics (Geophysics) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (Geophysics) from the University of Alberta, along with recent participation in the ExxonMobil Emerging Leader Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Its operations are conducted in three segments: Upstream, Downstream and Chemical.
