David Finch

David Finch is an experienced professional specializing in digitization and media preservation, currently serving as the Digitisation Manager at Imperial War Museums since May 2002. In this role, David oversees digitization programs that ensure the longevity of film and stills media, managing large projects within the Visual Resources Department. Additionally, as a Digital Film and Video Technician, David utilizes advanced technology, such as the MWA Vario film scanner and Adobe Premier software, to produce high-quality digital scans of the museum's extensive film collection, including significant projects like the German concentration camps factual survey. Prior to this, David held the position of Data Manager at Pepwell Films from 2007 to 2021.
