Ian Curtis

Ian Curtis has had an extensive career with Imperial War Museums, starting as a Distribution Assistant and Retail Assistant, then transitioning to become a Project Manager. In addition to their role at the museum, Ian also worked as an Airport Firefighter and Security Officer at idverde. Ian is skilled in fire safety, first aid, and advanced trauma care. As a firefighter, Ian conducted firefighting drills, maintained fire appliances, and conducted fire alarm testing. Ian also designed building fire plans and evacuation plans. In their role as a Ground Maintenance Team Leader, Ian managed a team for landscaping and maintenance tasks. With a background in LGV driving, Ian also has experience in training and instructing others in firefighting and safety protocols.
