Alun ap Rhisiart

Alun ap Rhisiart has amassed a wealth of work experience throughout their career. Alun is currently employed as a Senior Data Engineer at Impero Software since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at J.P. Morgan from May 2005 until September 2020 in the role of Associate.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Alun was the Owner of Amarinda Limited from January 2002 to May 2007. During this time, they were primarily engaged in software development using OO languages such as Smalltalk, Cocoa (Mac OS X), Ruby, and Python. Furthermore, they ran courses for IBM Learning Services in XML and EJBs.

From 2000 to 2002, Alun worked as a Consultant at Escala Limited. Alun was also the Development Manager at TravelNet Limited in 2000, where they oversaw the development team responsible for creating web software used for booking budget flights.

Prior to this, from 1999 to 2000, Alun served as a Senior Consultant/Trainer at The Object People, specializing in providing training in OO development and Smalltalk. Alun was also involved in consulting and out-sourced development projects, notably in customizing a medical insurance program for Lebanon.

Starting in January 1995 and lasting until October 1999, Alun acted as the Owner of Colobus Productions Ltd. During this time, they primarily worked on contract assignments for IBM as the Lead Developer, contributing to the development of software systems used by various organizations including Scottish & Southern Electric, SWEB, Swalec, Computer Science International in Oslo, Toyota, and London Processing House.
