Tan Mau Wu

Tan Mau Wu has extensive experience in patent law, currently serving as a Patent Agent at Impinj since March 2011, managing a portfolio of over 200 RFID patents and advising executives on various patent-related issues. Previously, from July 2008 to June 2010, Tan worked as a Patent Agent at Ropes and Gray, focusing on patent applications related to software interfaces and other technical fields. Tan began an academic career as a Research Assistant at MIT's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from September 2002 to June 2008, contributing to the design and implementation of test procedures for novel composite structures. Tan earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, following a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
