Muralikrishnan Kartha

Muralikrishnan Kartha, PhD, serves as the Senior Manager of Health Economics and Payer Evidence at Implantica since December 2022. Prior to this role, Muralikrishnan led the health economics team as a Senior Research Fellow at King's College London from January 2013 to November 2022, overseeing various projects related to health technology assessment and economic evaluations for medical technologies and artificial intelligence. Muralikrishnan's career includes roles as a Senior Health Economist at the NICE External Assessment Centre, a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge focusing on mental health economic evaluations, and a Research Assistant at the University of Technology Sydney. Earlier experience includes project management for HIV/AIDS initiatives and faculty roles in health research at the Lions Aravind Institute. Muralikrishnan holds a PhD in Health Economics from UNSW, an MSc in Health Services Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and additional degrees in Hospital Management and English Literature.
