George Moir

George Moir is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Technical Manager, Production Manager, and Deputy Project Director at Implenia since June 2018, George is responsible for major projects such as the Stockholm Citylink Anneberg Skanstull Tunnel and has held key roles in design and engineering leadership for projects in Norway and Sweden. Previous experience includes the role of General Manager at Samsung C&T UK Corporation, where George managed the Mersey Gateway Bridge's PPP execution phase, and Engineering Manager at Bilfinger Berger, overseeing significant infrastructure projects in the UK and Vietnam. Earlier roles in design and civil engineering were held at Philipp Holzmann Ag, Lahmeyer International GmbH, and Tarmac, with a foundational education in Civil Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
