Akshat Jain

Akshat Jain is a Software Engineer currently working at Imply since April 2024, focusing on Apache Druid. Previously, Akshat was employed at Yugabyte from June 2021 to March 2024, contributing to YugabyteDB Managed. Prior experience includes a Software Engineering Internship at Economize, where integration of Datadog for memory metrics and VM rightsizing recommendations was performed. Akshat's experience also includes a brief internship as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where exposure to technologies like Java and Apache Kafka was gained, as well as a Software Engineering Internship at Blinkit, where the implementation of bulk promotional codes was completed. Additionally, participation in Google Summer of Code involved work on FOSSASIA's SUSI Web Client and Server. Akshat holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna.
