Peter Marshall

Peter Marshall has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Peter started their career as a Helpdesk Support Analyst at Kensington & Chelsea TMO in 1998. Peter later progressed to become the IT Infrastructure and Development Manager, leading a team through an E-Government program. In 2006, they joined Islington Council as a Development Manager and stayed there until 2011. Peter then worked at the General Dental Council as a Records Management Architect from 2011 to 2013. After that, they joined AB Agri as a Solution Architect and later became a Digital & Data Architect. In 2018, they moved to Profisee as a Solution Engineer. In 2019, they joined Imply as a Presales Engineer and eventually held the position of Senior Developer Advocate. Currently, they serve as the Director of Developer Relations at Imply, where they are responsible for scaling up and out the Developer Relations function and mentoring team members. Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated expertise in various technical roles and has continuously contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Peter Marshall completed their education at the University of Birmingham from 1995 to 1998, obtaining a BA (Hons) in Theology and Computer Studies. Prior to that, they attended Boston College, Lincolnshire from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies. In addition to their formal education, Peter has obtained several certifications in various subjects, including Apache Druid Logs from Imply in 2022, Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: Global Manager V4.01 from Traliant in 2022, and Data Analytics for Business Professionals from LinkedIn in 2021, among others.
