Chuck Freedman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chuck currently works at MongoDB as the Director of Developer Advocacy. Prior to this, they were the Director of Developer Advocacy at Akamai Technologies, where they rebuilt the Developer Relations program and managed teams of developer advocates and community leaders. Chuck Freedman earned their Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Boston University, graduating in 1999. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1996, they attended Colby-Sawyer College, studying Communications. In addition to their formal education, Chuck has obtained several certifications, including MongoDB Atlas Search and MongoDB Data Modeling Intro from MongoDB, both in April 2023, as well as the Akamai Developer Champion certification from Akamai Technologies in February 2022.
