Guillaume Vial has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Guillaume started their career as an Engineering Intern at SNCF, where they developed an Excel-based tool for supply chain optimization. This project led to their subsequent employment as a Welder at SNCF.
Afterward, Guillaume worked as a Study Project participant at Airbus Defence and Space, collaborating with EADS-CASSIDIAN and CNRS. Guillaume developed a platform in Java to model and optimize logistic deployment in devastated areas.
Next, Guillaume joined AREVA NP as a Student Engineer, where they optimized a liquid sodium cooling system for a fast neutron nuclear reactor. Guillaume contributed to the cutting-edge ASTRID project during this time.
Guillaume pursued their Master's degree and conducted a Master Thesis Project at Maersk Line. Guillaume'sresearch focused on modeling and optimizing a liner shipping network for bunker consumption and transit times. This project resulted in a journal publication.
Guillaume then worked at BLUETOWN as a Global Supply Chain Analyst and later as a Business Intelligence Manager. BLUETOWN is a company that provides internet connectivity to rural areas in developing countries. Guillaume played a key role in the company's operations, headquartered in Denmark and employing around a hundred people globally.

Guillaume leads a small team of senior dev engineers, focusing on supporting operations and providing user-based requirements to ensure quality data for customers. Prior to this role, they worked as a Web Data Expert at Import.io.
Throughout their career, Guillaume has gained expertise in areas such as data engineering, business intelligence, logistics, supply chain optimization, and project management.
Guillaume Vial began their education in 2008 at Classes Préparatoires Aux Grandes Écoles Jean Perrin. Guillaume focused on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Industrial Sciences during this time but did not obtain a degree. In 2010, Guillaume Vial enrolled at Centrale Lille and pursued a degree in Multi-physics engineering, which they completed in 2014.
During this period, they also obtained certifications in ski activities from the Ministère de l'éducation nationale, de la jeunesse et de la vie associative in June 2009, and a lifeguard certificate from the Fédération Française de Sauvetage et de Secourisme in June 2009.
