Marc Greyvenstein is a seasoned professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as a Senior 3D Lighting Artist at Important Looking Pirates VFX since April 2025. Prior to this role, Marc held the position of Senior 3D Artist at The Mill from May 2018 to February 2025, specializing in lighting, texturing, and look development, while also contributing to prop and environment modeling, groom setups, Houdini simulations, and final rendering. Marc co-founded Clockwork Visual Effects and served as the Head of 3D and Lead CG Artist from January 2005 to April 2018, overseeing the creation and direction of commercials and guiding projects from storyboarding to final delivery. Earlier career experience includes roles as a CG Generalist and Network Administrator at Atomic Visual Effects from January 2002 to December 2004. Marc holds a degree from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
