Andrew Edwards, P.Eng

Andrew Edwards, P.Eng has extensive experience in electrical engineering. Andrew currently works as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Impossible Metals Inc. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Kraken Robotics from 2016 to 2023, where they also held a Senior Electrical Engineer role. From 2009 to 2016, they were the Lead Electrical Engineer at Virtual Marine Technology.

Before their industry roles, Andrew worked as a Project Engineer at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2007 to 2009. Here, they specialized in hardware and software development for marine simulation applications. Additionally, they were responsible for leading the motion integration research and the design and fabrication of embedded control systems and human-machine interfaces.

Earlier in their career, Andrew gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Alcatel-Lucent from 2005 to 2006.

Andrew Edwards, P.Eng. pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Engineering and Society from McMaster University between 2001 and 2007.
