Juan Manuel Barrios

Juan Manuel Barrios has had a varied work experience, beginning with a role as Software Engineer at Pragma Informatica S.A. in 2003. Juan Manuel then moved to Orand S.A. in 2012, where they held the role of Director of Research. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile, as well as Co-Founder & CEO of Impresee.

Juan Manuel Barrios began their educational journey in 1997 when they enrolled at Universidad de Chile to pursue a degree in Computer Science, earning their Computer Engineer degree in 2002. Juan Manuel then continued their studies at Universidad de Chile, earning their Master of Science in Computer Science in 2006. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at Universidad de Chile in 2013.
