Katie Cella

Katie Cella is a Senior Data Scientist at Imprivata, with a diverse background in data analysis and astrophysics. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist where research focused on the properties of Supermassive Black Hole Binary Systems at Vanderbilt University. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Katie developed Python code to analyze host galaxy properties related to Pulsar Timing Array detectable systems. Additional experience includes working as a Computer Science Grader and a Summer Research Fellow, employing data science techniques such as Gaussian Mixture Models. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from Vanderbilt University and a high school diploma from Whitefield Academy.
