Josh Blair

Josh Blair has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Josh is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Impro.AI, a role they started in November 2020. Josh is also the Chairman of Straive since October 2022. Previously, they served as the Vice Chair & HRC Chair of TELUS International from June 2016.

In addition, Josh Blair held the role of Governance Chair at Neighbourly Pharmacy starting from May 2021. Josh also worked as a Partner at Esplanade Ventures, where they provided strategic guidance and support to healthcare technology startups, starting in February 2020.

From 1995 to 2019, Josh served at TELUS, first as Group President from 2014 to 2019, overseeing various divisions including TELUS International, TELUS Health, TELUS Agriculture, TELUS Business Solutions, and TELUS Ventures. Prior to that, they held the position of EVP Human Resources & Chief Corporate Officer from 2007 to 2013, where they led HR and corporate functions.

Additionally, Josh Blair has served on the Board of Governors at the University of Victoria since July 2021. Furthermore, they held the role of Vice Chair & Audit Chair at Carebook Technologies Inc. from October 2020 to March 2023.

Josh Blair completed an Executive Program at Queen's University in 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Engineering (with distinction) with a focus on Electrical - Telecommunications at the University of Victoria from 1990 to 1995.
