Mark Christiansen

Mark Christiansen is a Principal Consultant at Improving with over 20 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. Since 2019, they have focused on developing real-time data processing solutions using Kafka technologies for various clients. Prior to this, Mark served in multiple roles at Cargill, where they contributed to software development for the Risk Management business unit and led IT teams. They have also held positions at companies such as TCF Bank and UnitedHealth Group, where they specialized in custom software design and system integration. Mark holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
