Troy Williams

Troy Williams currently serves as the IT Customer Service/Video Teleconference Manager and Digital Media Engineer & VTC Team Lead at Improvix Technologies, overseeing the Video Teleconferencing Team for the US Department of State since March 2022. Responsibilities include providing VTC support for Principal VIPs, ensuring operational readiness for virtual and in-person meetings, and maintaining the technical infrastructure within the Department of State. Previously, Troy held the position of Coordinator of Audio Visual & Videoconferencing Services at The Universities at Shady Grove from October 2007 to March 2022, where responsibilities involved designing and integrating AV technology, managing the bidding process, and collaborating with contractors for implementation. Troy's career began at Total Audio Visual Systems, Inc. as an Audio Visual Staging Manager/Sales Engineer/Integrator, managing the Audio Visual Rental Department from February 1992 to October 2007.
