Vishal Thakur

Vishal Thakur has extensive experience in international business development and trading within the metals recycling sector. Currently serving as the International Business Development professional at IMR Metallurgical Resources AG since January 2020, Vishal specializes in procurement and sales of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, as well as global sourcing of scrap and finished products across South Asia and Africa. Prior to this role, Vishal was the Business Head for Trading and Marketing at NICUALEAD RECYCLING from December 2013 to December 2019, overseeing procurement and trading of metals. Vishal's earlier positions included Non-Ferrous Scrap Trader at TRAFIGURA from September 2011 to October 2013 and roles in procurement and contract administration at MET TRADE INDIA LIMITED between 2009 and 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master in Business Finance from the Indian Institute of Finance and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from St Lukes Sen Sec School Solan.
