Gyu Cheon Cho

Gyu Cheon Cho has worked in various positions since 1994. Gyu Cheon began their career as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University in 1994. In 1997, they became a Postdoc./Research Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems. Finally, they were an EVP and Corporate Officer, Technology Dev & Product at IMRA America, Inc. from 2003 to present.

Gyu Cheon Cho attended Korea University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a BSc in Physics/Philosophy (Minor). Gyu Cheon then attended RWTH Aachen University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Diplom Physiker in Physics. Gyu Cheon returned to RWTH Aachen University from 1993 to 1997 and obtained a Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) in Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy on Semiconductors.
