Wei (David) Qian

Wei (David) Qian has a long and varied work experience. In 2022, they were elected as an Elder of the Calvary Baptist Church. From 2010 to present, they have worked at IMRA America, Inc. in various roles such as Program Manager/Senior Member of Technical Staff, Project Manager/Senior Research Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist. From 2003 to 2010, they were the Assistant Director/Senior Research Scientist at the Laser Dynamics Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Colorado, where they conducted research in the fields of electronic wavepacket motion and polarized ultrafast spectroscopy.

Wei (David) Qian obtained their Ph. D. in Optics from Peking University, between 1995 and 2000.
