Yee Chin Tang

Yee Chin Tang is an experienced consultant and engineer with a strong focus on integrity and risk assessment in the energy sector, particularly in the West African market. Yee Chin Tang has held prominent roles, including a consultant position at Cynthian Consulting Ltd. since February 2020, and as project lead at IMRANDD since September 2016, where significant achievements include automating the harvesting of data from over 10,000 reports. Previous positions include senior engineering roles at Stork and Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, and as a pipeline maintenance engineer at Shell, managing integrity activities for major gas export pipelines. Yee Chin Tang's academic background includes a PhD in Corrosion from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from the same institution, supplemented by a research fellowship at Osaka University.
