Earl Frederick Jr.

Earl Frederick Jr. has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT project management. Earl started their career in 1982 in the United States Marine Corps, where they held the position of Logistcs/Operations Chief for over 20 years. In 2003, they transitioned to the civilian sector and worked as a Systems Administrator for Active Adult Day Health Care until 2007. Earl then joined IR Technologies and served as a MLS2 Senior Systems Analyst from June 2007 to November 2012, followed by a role as a Cyber Security Engineer from November 2012 to April 2018. In 2018, Earl worked for Sentek Global as a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer from May 2018 to July 2018. Earl then moved on to IMRI, where they held the position of Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer from July 2018 and later became an IT Project Manager in September 2018.

Earl Frederick Jr. completed a Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, attending from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology - Security from the same university, attending from 2012 to 2015.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a registered practitioner with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB) since December 2021. Earl is also a CCNA-Security and CCENT certified by Cisco since December 2014 and August 2014 respectively. Earl Frederick Jr. holds the LPIC level -1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute since November 2011. Earl obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in September 2021. Earl is also a Certified Ethical Hacker certified by EC-Council since December 2016 and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certified by (ISC)² since November 2012. Other certifications include being a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute since February 2010 and a Cisco Certified Network Professional certified by Cisco since January 2016. Earl Frederick Jr. also holds certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, CompTIA A+ Hardware Technician, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL v3 Foundation, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate, and Oracle Database SQL Expert, although the months and years of obtaining those certifications are not specified.
