Theron Weisz

Theron Weisz has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and management positions. Theron is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Imricor since January 2020. Before joining Imricor, Theron worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Devicix | A Nortech Company from July 2016 to January 2020, where they were involved in embedded software contract design and implementation for medical devices. Prior to that, they worked at Seagate Technology as a Staff Firmware Engineer from July 2013 to July 2016, where they developed low-level drivers and unit tests for Enterprise Solid State Hard Drives. Theron also has experience working as a Principal Software Engineer at Medtronic, Inc. from February 2004 to June 2013, where they authored firmware for instruments and led verification projects for market release. Earlier in their career, they worked at TestQuest as a Sr. Software Engineer from 1999 to 2001, Digi International as a Software Engineer from 1999 to 2000, Management Graphics as a Software Engineer from 1998 to 1999, and Rosemount as a Software Engineer from 1996 to 1998. Throughout their career, Theron has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and has contributed to the development of firmware, embedded software, and automated test systems.

Theron Weisz began their education in 1990 at the University of Jamestown, where they pursued pre-engineering studies with a focus on math and chemistry. Theron attended this institution until 1992, following which they joined North Dakota State University. At North Dakota State University, Theron completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a computer emphasis, graduating in 1995.
